ACTICLASTER is the new formulation to be combined with plant protection products* for sustainable defense against downy mildew

Vines every year are threatened by Downy mildew, and in 2018 EURO TSA proposes its strategy for sustainable defense where the protagonist is ACTICLASTER formulated to reduce the use of plant protection products* while protecting the surrounding environment.

ACTICLASTER, is a liquid formulation based on phosphorus, potassium and noble substances that can:

  1. Stimulating sugar metabolism.
  2. Increase protein metabolism.
  3. Enable coping with stresses of various kinds.
  4. Reduce the use of plant protection products* with increased efficacy.
  5. Enable overcoming stresses of various kinds.

How is ACTICLASTER employed?

ACTICLASTER is used at a dose of 3 l/ha mixed with fungicides* so as to:

  • Improve translocation of plant protection products* within the plant.
  • Reduce the dose of copper-based products* to meet the limit of 6 kg/ha/year.
  • Generating avasodilating action within the vascular system thereby limiting flow interruption problems.
  • Promote greater accumulation of sugars in the cluster.
  • Effectively cope with and overcome stresses of various kinds.
  • Improve qualitative-quantitative characteristics of yields.

We recommend the use of ACTICLASTER from the distended leaf stage to pre-cluster closure every 7-10 days for up to 6 applications.

The do EURO TSA strategy for grapevine involves mixing ACTICLASTER with the following plant protection products:

  • PENNCONIL*: Cimoxanil 4% + Mancozeb 40% (Reg. No. 9439, 17.12.1997) from the phenological stage of bud opening to separate clusters.
  • CYTORAM COMBI WG*: Cymoxanil 4.2% and Copper 39.75% by oxychloride ( No. 16190, 09.12.14) from phenological stage of separate flower buds to flowering.
  • PLANETE C*: Metlaxil 3% + Copper 15.5% from hydroxide (Reg. No. 9794, 02.11.1998) from the phenological stage of berry pepper to pre-closing cluster.
